A Flare for the Dramatic

I can't get enough of this hat. It reminds me of something Grandma Velma would wear, and it seems to fit baby Gracie's personality thus far! Don't worry, she has a matching tutu to go with it!

Grandpa's Birthday

Grandpa turned 55 this weekend. We had pizza and cake and played with our feet . . . doesn't get much better than that.

Mobile

Our daughter is officially mobile: rolling over both ways and worm crawling. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the worm crawl, it is one of the many precursors to crawling- along with the army crawl, the sit and lunge, and my nephew's claim-to-fame, the gorilla scoot. The funniest thing about the worm crawl (besides of course the fact that it looks funny) is the fact that Gracie arrives at her destination with giant red marks all over her face where she has firmly planted it into the ground and various toys in order to brace her head so that she can pull her legs under her belly. I will try to download a video soon!
