Yesterday we met the Altrees at the pumpkin patch. Greg's back was hurting and I was exhausted after a crazy week at work, but all of the pain and frustration vanished when we got to watch the magic induced by corn mazes, hay rides, potato sack slides and friends we love.

This Sunday I got an hour or so of alone time and decided to spend it doing something I haven't done in way too long. . .
My parents came to visit on Friday night, and on Saturday we got a surprise visit from my brother's family. Even the Altree clan joined us for pizza and wine. We had such a great time . . . it makes us wonder why we don't live closer. But then again, maybe if we did these times with family wouldn't be nearly as special. Gracie sure does love "Nama, Buck, Ankle Nothin', Emmie, Mafferew, Baby Laura, and Auntie Tricia!"
